Augmented Reality offers a new innovative approach to enrich the existing user experience. On a technical level, AR basically consists of computer generated 3D models that can be placed in a real environment around us.
What is AR?
AR technology (technically, using computer vision and object recognition) transforms the classic user experience into an interactive and digital. Using AR, artificial information about the environment and its objects are overlaid on the real world.
In short, AR combines the virtual world with the real world around us.
How does AR work?
The core of AR is using 3D objects and animation for representation. There are many applications of AR, but in general we can use Gaming Engines, such as Unity, to develop AR solutions. There are different AR options: Marker Based AR or AR Triggers Ground and Plane Detection
Mainly there are different AR options:
- Marker Based AR or AR Triggers
- Ground and Plane Detection
